The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions processed by Konteaki furniture ("the Conditions"). All
orders made are subject to the acceptance of these Conditions, and deemed to be accepted by you when placing your order. These

WEBSITE TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. PAYMENT
1.1 We will treat each order for goods as an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to these Conditions. You are deemed to
accept the Conditions when you place an order for goods with us. Our contract with you only begins when we confirm acceptance of
your offer to purchase goods from us. An order will not take place (and we will not be deemed to have accepted your order) until we
have validated and confirmed your payment. Any communication, which you receive from us prior to validation, is not to be deemed as
an acceptance of your order. In the event of any pricing error occurring within our website, within a written or verbal quotation,
or contained within any fax or e-mail correspondence however received, all orders shall be deemed void.
1.2 We accept payment through either Paypal or RBSWORLDPAY we are unable to accept telephone orders or cheques.
1.3 Ownership of the goods shall not pass to you until we have received payment in full (cleared funds).
1.4 Your order for goods is subject to stock availability. If we do not supply goods to you for any reason we will inform you of the
situation and will not charge you for those goods, and will refund any money already paid by you for these goods. We are not liable
for any financial loss incurred by you relating to interest payments, or loss of earnings, or similar gains you would have received
on monies paid to us in lieu of any unfulfilled order.
1.5 All prices quoted or displayed are in UK pounds sterling and shall be the price, inclusive of VAT, set out on the website at the
time your order is placed. A delivery charge may be added and clearly shown in the orders section of the shopping cart before any
online order can be placed, or as quoted by phone. We are entitled to make adjustments to the price to take account of any increase
in, or the imposition of any new taxes or duties. If due to an error or omission the price published for the goods on our website is
wrong we have the right to terminate an order provided the goods have not been dispatched. We will try to ensure that all prices
displayed on our website are accurate, but should an error occur we would inform you of the correct price and give you an
opportunity to cancel the order.
1.6 Payment for goods must be made in accordance with our purchase procedure as set out on our website. All orders are positively
credit card sanctioned prior to dispatch. We can accept no responsibility if any details you provide us with that are incorrect or
if any order is held up as a result of incorrect or unsubstantiated details.
2. DELIVERY
2.0 Delivery is £30 per orders up to £450 to mainland UK. Except these postcodes KW, IV, PH, AB where the delivery charge is £65.
2.1 Delivery is done by a specialist furniture delivery company who will contact you a few days prior to attempting delivery to give you the delivery details and a 2-3 hour time window for the delivery.
2.2 The delivery company will attempt to take the furniture to your room of choice health and safety and access permitting.
2.3 Delivery of the goods must be signed for. The address will be that registered with your payment card issuer, unless you request otherwise and we agree to such a request (at our sole discretion).
2.4 We will Endeavour to deliver your goods if in stock within 28 working days. If we are unable to deliver the goods for any reason you will be notified and will not be obliged to pay for the goods. However, we shall not be liable for any loss, which may be suffered by you caused by any delay of delivery unless caused by our negligence.
2.5 If goods arrive in a damaged condition you must inform us as soon as possible on either 01934 425050 or email deliveries@konteaki.co.uk. We shall arrange collection of the goods and will either replace the goods at no extra charge, or refund any monies paid by you for the goods.
2.6 Konteaki furniture must be notified as soon as possible on 01934 425050 or email deliveries@konteaki.co.uk if any part of your order is missing.
2.7 We will deliver to business addresses at your request but stress that if instructed to do so, the card used in the transaction
must be officially registered to that address. Also you are agreeing that anyone situated at your business address has your written
authority to accept goods on your behalf. We will accept no responsibility for goods once they have been delivered to and signed for at the requested address.
2.8 Delivery Charges. All our carriage charges are displayed in the shopping basket, or on the page called delivery, or via our sales team please contact our sales team on 01934 425050 for a quotation.
2.9 We shall not be liable to you for any failure or delay in performance of our contract. If it is due to an event beyond our reasonable control including, without limitation, manufacturing delays, acts of God, war, industrial dispute, fire, flood, tempest and national emergencies and if so delayed we shall be entitled to a reasonable extension of time for performing such obligations.
3. REFUNDS, RETURNS & CANCELLATIONS.
3.1 You have a statutory right under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 to cancel this agreement within 7 working days of the Products being delivered and signed for.
3.2 Orders that are cancelled or returned to us after the statutory 7 Day cooling off period will incur an unsubsidized return delivery charge please contact us on 01934 425050 for an exact quote for the return delivery.
3.4 Please ensure items for return are well packaged and in the original packaging if possible.
3.5 Please ensure that all products packaged for return are clearly labeled with your name, postal address and order number. If you try to return Products to us unwrapped or poorly wrapped, the delivery company may refuse to collect or take away those Products.
3.6 If you contact us during the 7 day cooling off period to cancel the agreement and request that we collect the products from you, we will refund all payments made by you as soon as possible.
3.7.We adhere to the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
4. MISCELLANEOUS
4.1 We shall not be liable to you for any failure or delay in performance of our contract. If it is due to an event beyond our reasonable control including, without limitation, acts of God, war, industrial dispute, fire, flood, tempest and national emergencies and if so delayed we shall be entitled to a reasonable extension of time for performing such obligations.
4.2 These terms are subject to English law and the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
4.3 Product Descriptions & Prices
1. Any specification or dimensions, supplied by Konteaki Furniture shall be treated as a guide only.
2. Every effort is made to ensure that prices shown are accurate at the time you place your order.
3. All prices include VAT, where appropriate, at the prevailing rate and are subject to any promotional offer or discount.
4. We have gone to great lengths to illustrate our products, but each image will of course, be limited by the screen settings of your own monitor.
4.4 Health and Safety at Work Act
1. Much of the furniture that we deliver is extremely heavy and in order to protect our delivery staff from injury we need to know of any potential problem with the delivery.
2. In order to comply with Health & Safety Legislation, we will never ask staff to move furniture if they consider it dangerous.
3. For legal reasons we must insist that they wear their safety boots at all times.
4. Price Match
4.1 The Price Match Promise applies where:
This does not include auction sites like eBay or non-UK based companies.
The price will include any delivery costs of the alternate company and reflect current stock availability.
You will supply us with the web address where you have found the item for less.
We reserve the right to refuse any price match.
